Leadership

Michael Weiss

Michael has been Jewish as long as he can remember and was a founding member of the Jews of Yale group from its grassroots days. He currently works in the Library IT department at Sterling Memorial Library as his day job here at Yale. He has completed his first year as a co-chair of JoY and looks forward to his second year.

Matthew Schlager

Matthew joined the Yale School of Public Health as a staff member in the Data Science Data Equity initiative, where he supports the Associate Dean in her work.  Prior to joining YSPH, Matt was employed at the Yale New Haven Heath System, in the Legal & Risk Services Department for 18 years.

Matt and his family enjoy taking care of their yard, and outdoor planting as well as the occasional road trip.
